Porcelain Crowns |
Case History As a child this patient had an accident that broke two of her upper front teeth. At first the teeth had been repaired with silver caps and then later by poorly matched, old style porcelain crowns with metal bases. With age, her teeth continued to move; they eventually appeared too long and the gums too low. After consulting with Dr. Notestine, this patient chose porcelain crowns. After modifying the gum line, the crowns were matched to blend in with her existing teeth. The result was a very pleasing and natural looking smile. |
